Welcome Kindergarten Families 2019-2020

Mrs. Candy & I are very excited to meet all of our new Kindergartners for the 2019-2020 School Year!

I mailed our Meet the Teacher Letter, Transportation and Open House Information on Wednesday! You should receive these soon and it will direct you to our classroom website and our Facebook Group for our Kindergarten families!

Open House times were just randomly selected and assigned, so please feel free to email me or call the school and I can change your time if needed! It is not a big deal at all.

Please bring your child's school supplies to Open House Night, Friday, August 9th that way students do not have to carry all of the materials the very 1st Day of School! It can be heavy!

Another important note is which "Phase In Day" your child will come to school on. Your child's 1st Day of School is this "Phase In Day". Our school is filled with very young children who may have never attended a school or even a day care. Because of our large school, we choose as a school to make the class size very small for the 1st Day to tend to individual student needs better and lessen the anxiety of a new environment with new people and students. Therefore, your child will attend their 1st Day on Wednesday, August 14th or Thursday, August 15th. All students will attend school for their 2nd Day on Friday, August 16th. This information was mailed to your home and is noted at the bottom of the Transportation Verification Sheet. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We will also have a Facebook Group to help communicate with families. It is a great way to quickly keep families informed as most families have Facebook and we have some families who speak different languages at home, Facebook can easily translate this information for families in our classroom to be able to stay informed.

I cannot wait to meet both students and families! I am super excited to begin another school year! Hope to see all of you soon!
