2/14 (Tuesday) – Valentine’s Exchange

• We will be having a small valentines exchange for students on this day.

• Please have your child send in 26 Valentines, they do not have to fill out the “TO” portion only have them write their name in the “FROM” spot.

• Mrs. Candy & I will provide Valentine Bags for all students.

• Please have your child wear PINK or RED on this day for FUN!

2/15 (Wednesday) – Dance Blue Day!

• Dance Blue is an event that helps to fundraise for the University of Kentucky’s Pediatric Oncology Unit.

• During Specials Classes on this day students will dance in the Gym to help raise money for children with cancer at UK. Please check your child’s folder in upcoming days for more information.

• Please send your child to school WEARING BLUE or any UK attire they have and tennis shoes, since they will be dancing in the GYM.

2/20 (Monday) – No School

Box Tops Challenge!

• Our kindergarten classrooms are competing in a Box Top Challenge for the months of January and February.

• Please send in any Box Tops throughout these months.

• It is tough competition as there are 27 kindergarten classrooms in our school! So every little bit counts!

• Thank you for sending in all the special treats for our 100th Day Snack and our “Snowball Fight” in Gym. Mrs. Candy, Mrs. Rhoads and I greatly appreciate your generosity and the kids certainly enjoyed both activities. We cannot thank each one of you enough for making learning fun!
