Homework
Homework will begin in the month of November. It is a monthly homework calendar with activities to complete each day of the month.
Please only return the homework calendar when it has been completed at the end of the month.
Book Character Parade
Since many families do not celebrate Halloween, we have a Book Character Parade instead.
Your child may dress up as any book character they like, as long as they bring the book with them to the parade. Please do not feel as if you need to buy something for this, please let Mrs. Candy & I know if you need ideas or have any questions.

We still are in need of these items for our Fall Celebration if you are able to help!

Report Cards
Report Cards were sent home today in your child’s folder. Please sign and return the envelope. All of the paperwork is for you to keep, we have copies at the school and do not need the paperwork returned, only the envelope.
Our Report Cards are standards based, which means that students are scored on how they are progressing toward the end of the year goals. Students should be at mostly 1’s and 2’s at the beginning of the school year. Scores of 3’s and 4’s are common at the end of the school year, as students have mastered kindergarten standards or skills that they have learned.
Please read the Report Card Insert for more specific information about each individual score.
