Our week and Valentine's Celebration
2/12 (Friday)- Classroom Celebration
Our class will have a celebration (for Valentines) at 1:30 p.m.
We have 23 students, but there is always a possiblity that we may get a new student,
For the Valentines, we ask for your child to fill out the “FROM” portion of the Valentine and leave the “TO” portion blank. This makes it much faster for students to pass out.
Please send them to school by Wednesday, February 10th. This way we can buy some for the students who do not have any to pass out.
2/15 (Monday)- No School
2/16 (Friday)- Fundraiser Due
All orders and money for the Bumblebee Fundraiser Coupon Books are due. All checks should be made payable to: JELV. Orders will not be processed without the proper funds
Box Tops Challenge
JELV is having a Box Tops Challenge for the months of January and February! Each classroom in our school is competing to win a POPCORN PARTY. The classroom that sends in the MOST Box Tops will win! Please send in any Box Tops you have to school with your child in their T.I.G.E.R. Folder.
JELV Fundraiser
A Bumblebee Fundraiser Packet was placed in your child’s T.I.G.E.R. Folder on Wednesday. The fundraiser is a BIG Coupon Book with great discounts to TONS of restaurants and business, like Valvoline, Sky Zone, Bob Evans, Texas Roadhouse, Papa John’s, Dominos, Dairy Queen, Culver’s, KFC, Taco Bell, Subway, Zaxby’s and much MORE! Each Coupon Book is $20. If you sell 10 Coupon Books, you get 1 FREE! If you would like to see a Coupon Book, there is one on display in the Office at JELV. Thanks for your support!
POWER UP!
This Spring your child will be participating in the Jessamine County Public Library’s 8-week reading competition called “Power Up!” JELV will be working to reach our own school goal, but JELV is also competing against all of the Jessamine County Schools to read the MOST hours per student! For every 10 minutes you read to your child or your child reads to you, color in a “BOLT”, Turn in your paper in your child’s T.I.G.E.R. Folder and we will send home a new “Power Up!” paper!
Snow Day Work
If you have not completed your snow day work for Snow Days #1-#4 please complete it and send it in as soon as possible. If you need another copy, just let us know and we will send a new one home.
