1/21 (Thursday)- Family Fun Night!
Family Fun Night will take place at JELV from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Check your child’s T.I.G.E.R. Folder for more specific details on a flyer coming soon!
2/1 (Monday)- No School (Teacher Work Day)
2/4 (Thursday)- Classroom Picture Day
Our class will take a group picture on this day. No individual student pictures will be taken.
2/12 (Friday)- Classroom Celebration
Our class will have a celebration (for Valentines) at 1:30 p.m. We have 23 students. We will send home more information closer to this date, but wanted to let you know so you were able to plan ahead.
Marshmallows
In an upcoming Gym Unit, “Snowmen at Night”, at the end of the month, Mrs. Rhoads (our gym teacher), needs some marshmallows to practice throwing skills as a “snowball fight”. She needs about 4 bags per classroom. If you are able to donate any, please send them to school with your child and Mrs. Candy & I will make sure to give them to Mrs. Rhoads.

Box Tops Challenge
JELV is having a Box Tops Challenge for the months of January and February! Each classroom in our school is competing to win a POPCORN PARTY. The classroom that sends in the MOST Box Tops will win! Please send in any Box Tops you have to school with your child in their T.I.G.E.R. Folder.

Snow Day
In the case of a Snow Day, students are to complete Snow Day 1 work in their Snow Day Packet. This packet has been placed in your child’s T.I.G.E.R. Folder in a plastic sleeve for convenience. Please leave it in there so we can check it for completed work.
