Homework
A monthly calendar was sent home with activities for your child to complete each night in literacy and/or math. Please initial each time it has been completed. Do not return the homework calendar until the month has ended.
Lexia and Dreambox are optional extra work options, if you have access to the internet or apps for a tablet. It is great additional practice for students!

Lexia & Dreambox information was sent home, but if you need it for over Fall Break, feel free to email me, I can easily send it to you
Please remember not to answer the questions for your child when on Lexia or Dreambox. The program gauges your child’s individual instructional level from these answers and will only move your child up as they have gained new skills, making the games too hard for your child if they did not complete the level independently. The program also allows teachers to see what skills and concepts the child and class is struggling or exceling in, which also drives my instruction in what students need. Therefore, it is significant that the information is as accurate as possible, from student responses.

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on October 26th, 27th and 28th. (Many of you have already signed up at Parent Orientation and I have entered in your time and information)

Our Music Teacher, Ms. Miller is in need of paper towel rolls, toilet paper rolls and milk jug lids to complete a fun activity where students create musical instruments using these items. Since Ms. Miller needs to make over 600+ of these any contribution can help! Thanks in advance.
Wednesday (Day 2) – Gym
Please send your child to school in tennis shoes for Gym Class
