Important Dates and Reminders
April 27th – MAP Testing in Reading.
o Our class will be taking the Reading portion of the MAP Test on Monday. We look at MAP scores to help us plan and teach based on student understanding. Please treat this as an important day and assessment. Make sure your child has plenty of sleep on Sunday night! We are looking forward to seeing how much they have grown! Also, make sure to praise your child for any growth, they have been working very hard!
April 29th – Early Release Day (10:45am)
April 29th – Chick-fil-A Spirit Night (Fayette Mall Location – JELV will get 20% of sales)
April 30th - Field Trip – Shaker Village (Please return permission slip by Friday J)

May 4th – Transition Field Trip to 1st grade schools. (If you have not already returned a Permission Slip, please sign and return by Monday.)
May 12th – Transition Family Fun Night at JELV from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Stop by to learn more about 1st Grade, get to meet 1st Grade Teachers from each school and learn about 1st Grade!
Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the JELV library on Monday, May 4 - Tuesday, May 12. The book fair will be open from 9:00-3:00.
We will also be open for Family Fun Night on Tuesday, May 12 from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
On this night you can come purchase books to support the library, meet and take pictures with Clifford, and enter your child's name in a drawing for prizes!
