Early Release Day & the 100th Day of School!

sled_kids.png

I hope you are enjoying this wonderful winter weekend with your family! Snow is such fun! I am thrilled that the little ones actually got a good amount of snow that is great for sledding and building snowmen.

This week is going to be a busy one!

On Wednesday, we will have an Early Release Day at 10:45 a.m. Students will be sent home as they are usually dismissed unless you write a note or call the office for a special change on this day. Please do this as soon as possible! The office gets incredibly busy on this day.

On Thursday, January 29th, we will be celebrating the 100th Day of School! We have been counting up to this special day, due to the special triple digit number, all school year long! To celebrate this day, we will be participating in many activities involving the number 100.

  • On this day, your child may also dress up like they are 100 years old. Some examples that children have worn in the past for this day have included; wigs, ties, old glasses. Anything to make them look older!

  • We are in need of Fruit Loops for an activity celebrating the 100th day of school. If you are able to send in a box or bag, please let me know! Thank you to those families who have sent in some already! We have one box and to make each student a necklace of 100 Fruit Loops, we need one more!
